BlaBla Connect has been granted the EMI authorization by the UK’s FCA

London, UK-based BlaBla Connect, a global provider of Fintech and OTT mobile communication services for businesses and consumers, has been granted the EMI authorization by UK’s FCA.

London, August 2ndBlaBla Connect, a global leader in Social Wallet and Communications, today announced that it has been granted authorisation to carry on electronic money services activities from 20 July 2017, under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (EMRs).

“This is a very important milestone that BlaBla Connect has achieved. Our focus is on delivering robust and agile, customer centric services in an increasingly connected consumer world.” said the CEO, Bassem Bouzid. “Passporting the authorization, allows us to offer a wide range of regulated payment services, across the European Economic Area”.

BlaBla Connect has been granted authorisation for Electronic Money Services (including the seven payment services activities) and will appear on the E-Money Register.
